PROBLEM

The collegiate merchandising market is a competitive one. It's not easy to stand out from the crowd when you are cheering on your favorite team.

ROLE

CREATIVE DIRECTOR // DESIGNER // E-COMMERCE MANAGER

SOLUTION

The Honour Society designed custom, officially licensed collegiate apparel. We worked directly with NCAA licensing to create customized lines of hats, bags and accessories branded with official logos from top universities across the USA. We built several strategic B2B partnerships with university bookstores, high traffic online shops like Zulily, Fanatics.com, SECStore.com, and direct to consumer.


THE POWER OF SHARING

Through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest, we connected with segments of fans using inbound marketing tactics and were able to directly communicate relevant information based on which team a customer bought a product from and built a relationship, increased customer retention and brand loyalty. A Michigan fan doesn’t want to see products from Michigan State!


We created contest encouraging fans to share pictures using our products and the results went VIRAL!

GONE VIRAL

It didn't take long for our products to start appearing at college football games and posted on social media and spotted on live TV programs like ESPN and Sports Center.
